What the Rose of Jericho (resurrection plant) taught me about setting intentions and new beginnings. The first video is here: https://youtu.be/L6cEG75rTks

I thought it would be fun and healing to make a video of me working with a Rose of Jericho (a resurrection plant) today. Individually and collectively it's a good time to be grateful for what we have, release what we no longer need and plant seeds of intentions for our futures. I will do a follow-up video on my Birthday which is Easter Sunday, April 12th to see the progress of the resurrection of this special plant!
Please note: I misspoke in the video but I wanted to do it in one take. I was not clear about Jesus' death. He celebrated the Passover with his disciples on Nisan 14 and was betrayed that night. I realize he didn't die that same night. His commandment was on the Passover when he said to 'keep doing this in remembrance of me'. - Luke 22:19 - That is why I grew up celebrating the Passover as a Christian. In this video I offer a tool to help use energy from anxiety and/or stress to help you discover your own power. Learn how to feel the potency in your own energy and how to use it to help you get to know your self and your body in a new way. This also helps with body meditation when the mind feels "too busy" to meditate. Notice improvements in sleep right away and with practice, you will have new skills to manage moments of heightened stress and anxiety anytime, anywhere.
Special thanks to Jim Hesterman for his help with this video! https://www.jimhesterman.com/ How are you? Is there anything you've noticed or learned? These are some of the things I've noticed, patterns and coincidences relating to our current chaos. I mention different connections and patterns all the way until the end. What do you think? Are you interested in learning more about balancing this element so you aren't as vulnerable?
A great source about this element and different forms of grief that I referenced in the video is here: https://agelessherbs.com/metal-element/ I long to meet you where it’s still, where there is a pause, a void, a womb filled with possibility.
This is the place where the earth feels so still you swear you can hear the fire in her heartbeat, feeling her rise as she takes a breath beneath your feet. This is the pause before an artist begins their work, quietly forming an understanding between themselves and their instrument of choice - a painter lifting their brush hovering over a blank canvas; a writer that is preparing to allow their fingers to speak their heart’s truth; a musician connecting to their instrument and an audience right before they begin to play. This is that micro-moment between the time it takes for you to feel a gentle caress on your skin and the chills that rise up your spine in response. This is when time seems to slow right before lips meet. This is when your lover bares themselves, body, heart, and spirit before you and awe replaces all thought as you are invited in to witness the raw beauty of their unmasked humanness. This is when you feel surrender wash over you and you suddenly sense that you're floating. This is the silent heightened awareness that you share with someone before zenith is reached. This is the pause between breaths, between our own heartbeats. This is the space of trust, faith, vulnerability, truth. This is where we remember who we are. This is where God resides, where stars are born, where we were first joined. This is where your eyes take me. This is where we are master creators. This is where we belong. Meet me here. Always. |
